Inspired by Ohara Koson’s famous designs, beautifully detailed spoonbills, hand painted in watercolour,
contrast against the naivety of lightly flowing willow branches, painted in just one stroke.
The roseate spoonbills recreate the bright pinks found in traditional chinoiserie.
